Finding contacts


Once customers have been added to RealClearContacts, find them using a few search letters. You can also browse them alphabetically.

Step 1 - Specify a Starting Letter

Select Customers from the menu.  Clicking on a letter will list all customers who's name starts with that letter.  The displayed name will either be a persons name, or the company name.

Step 2 - Standard Search

Enter a few letters to find a customer.  Contacts as well as companies will be searched.

Examples

  • Typing alen will display the contact Susan Kalengray
  • Typing rado will display the company Colorado Ski Studio

Step 3 - Advanced Search

Click on Options to display additional search fields.

Examples

  • You can find all customers from Arizona by typing it in the State/Province field.
  • Combine search fileds:  Arizona in the State/Province field and Bank in the name filed will display all the banks in Arizona.

Step 4 - Customer Display

After entering your search, a list of customers (contacts and companies) will be displayed.

  • Notice the small icon to the left of the customer.  One type is for contacts and the other for companies.
